It’s wild that you can live your whole life (well, up to 40+ years at least) and never experience a vacation hot spot that so many deem their traditional family destination or a place they spent a majority of their childhood summers, that just so happens to be only hours away from your home. That was Lake Chelan for me. Slidewaters water park, camping, and boating are common themes amongst vacation goers, but Chelan County offers a really fabulous backdrop for a girls weekend or kid-free getaway as well. I was fortunate enough to experience this slice of heaven with my dear friends Sarah Gray and Portia Smith. It did not disappoint! Steal this itinerary for your Chelan getaway!
Lakey Stars @ The Lookout // Chelan, WA
The Lookout Lake Chelan is a resort-like community of beautiful vacation homes in a neighborhood setting. Lakey Stars was our home during our visit to Lake Chelan and we couldn’t have been more delighted in how beautiful and cozy it was!
Directly across from the pool, hot tub, coffee shop, pickleball court, and recreation area puts this home in an unbeatable location within the Hilltop District of The Lookout.

Can’t make it out to Rocky Pond’s winery in Orondo? No problem! Visit their chic tasting room in downtown Chelan. You’ll find the same quality in cuisine while enjoying some live music in a more intimate setting.
Karma Vineyards // Chelan, WA
Small, but mighty, Karma is situated on 14 acres on the south shore of Chelan and is known for their bubbly sparkling wines! The tasting room is a fun dynamic of cool and casual, but comes alive once you walk in to the wine cave.

Great for private events, special gatherings, and provides a stunning landscape for weddings.
Tsillan Cellars // Chelan, WA
Definitely a don’t-miss experience. Tsillan Cellars sits above the south side of Chelan, welcoming guests to their Tuscan inspired retreat. The 135 acre property is noted as a “crown jewel” in Lake Chelan and it’s no surprise when you drive up. Waterfalls, gardens, and top-of-the-world views will leave you breathless.
Make a reservation at the on-site restaurant, Sorrento’s Ristorante, for an authentic Italian cuisine experience.
Sigillo Cellars // Chelan, WA
Located in the Lakeside Public House on the south shore of Lake Chelan, Sigillo Cellars’ family friendly tasting room includes outdoor seating, light fare, and live entertainment! Views of Mt. Si can be seen from the spacious windows of their tasting room.
